Easton Police carried out a search warrant at the S. 7th Street apartment of Jeffrey Brownlee, 36, who they say was actively selling narcotics and possibly manufacturing unlicensed firearms known as “ghost guns,” authorities said.

The search turned up about $9,000 worth of cocaine, heroin, a shotgun, items to manufacture “ghost guns” and various drug distribution paraphernalia, police said.

A vehicle was also seized and will be searched at a later time.

Brownlee was taken into custody and charged with three counts of persons not to possess use or manufacture a firearm (based on having a felony conviction in his past), possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brownlee has an extensive criminal history, including previous charges for aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment after stomping and kicking a woman he lived with in 2019, LehighValleyLive reports.

He was also the subject of a 2018 simple assault case in Allentown and was sentenced to between three months and a year in county prison after pleading guilty in a 2017 Bethlehem simple assault case, the report says.

Brownlee is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday.
